Wonderful pebble beach accessible by path or by boat from Kolymbari. There lies the temple of Goddess’s Artemis-Diktynna and her nymph Diktynna Vritomartys. According to the legend she fell into the sea to avoid the Zeus’s love and was saved by fishermen’s nets (diktynna).

Menies-Diktynna
Falasarna
Falasarna is located on the western part of Crete next to the ancient Minoan port and is one of the most popular destinations on the entire island. It has been added on the Natura 2000 project, due to its special natural beauty. It features one of the best sunsets on the entirety of Greece due to its unique position as the westernmost part of the island.
Imeri and Agria Gramvousa, Balos Lagoon
The north westernmost part of Crete with its crystal clear waters. It’s only accessible via daily boat from the port of Kissamos, or by a road that goes halfway up the Gramvousa Peninsula and then walk the rest of the way.
Elafonisi

Green Routes
Using the peaks of the White Mountains as guide, you enter the countryside. You cross orange and olive tree groves, in Fournes, Skines and Lakkoi until at last you reach your final destination, the Omalos Plateau. On the eastern side you cross from Vamos, to Askyfou Plateau, to Sfakia and finally to the abandoned Aradaina. The countryside is a popular destination for thousands of hikers every year due to its rich natural environment. The Greek Mountaineering Club of Chania has marked 10 routes of mountainous and semi mountainous paths, part of the European Long Distance Path 4.
